As the most ancient sports organizations   of the world,the Kırkpınar tops the list as a faithful   guardian of the traditional and cultural values of our city and country with its 7 century long history. Hıdrellez is another celebration day on which the Prophets Al-Khidr and Elijah met on earth according to belief of Turks.Also the arrival of spring is celebrated.Hıdrellez starts on May 5 night and falls on May 6.People pray on this day whatever   their wishes are.
